Job Description:

Reporting to the SVP, Head of ETFs & Indexed Strategies, Canada, the incumbent’s main responsibilities will be to provide clients and prospects with ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process, and performance of Invesco’s shelf of ETF related products along with insights on portfolio positioning and implementation. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Meeting and presenting to clients, prospects, and/or intermediaries to explain the investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific ETF related investment products
  • Providing updates on overall financial market performance, economic trends and Invesco Canada’s economic outlook
  • Providing insights into how best to implement Invesco Canada’s ETF strategies into a client portfolio to meet their personal investment goals
  • Maintaining an extensive knowledge of the firm and ETF industry including all products and trends in the industry
  • Establishing credibility and providing context on the sales process to clients
  • Playing a key role in new business efforts (e.g., finals presentations, consultant and/or gatekeeper meetings)

*Some travel and teleconferencing required

Qualifications:

The experience you bring:

  • 5-10 years’ financial services industry experience preferred or equivalent work experience including excellent knowledge and passion for ETF product line
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently and driving own initiatives
  • Experience in developing targeted analyses and building business cases and recommendations
  • Experience in working with and understanding the needs of clients and their respective dealers

  • Intellectual ability - the ability to learn and act on new information quickly and effectively
  • Works effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
