CETFA Congratulates Brent Vandermeer
The Canadian ETF Association (CETFA) presented the first CETFA ETF Champion of the Year award to Brent Vandermeer, CIM, FCSI of Vandermeer Wealth Management â€“ HollisWealth, at the 2016 Canadian Wealth Professional Awards.
CETFA is proud to honour Brent as the winner of the first ETF Champion Award at the Wealth Professional Awards on June 6th, said Pat Dunwoody, Executive Director of the Canadian ETF Association that sponsored the award. â€œHe embodies the qualities that CETFA stands for, including his tireless work in educating his clients on ETFs and how best to use them in portfolios. Brent has been a member of the CETFA since 2014 when we introduced the Portfolio Manager membership category and has been an enthusiastic member and participant in fostering continued growth and dialogue in the ETF industry.
The CETFA ETF Champion of the Year Award was determined by a jury of industry experts. A variety of factors are considered, to recognize the achievement of an individual, group or firm whose efforts have gone beyond the requirements of their position to advance the ETF industry in Canada. Consideration is given to how each nominee is promoting, innovating with, demonstrating the tax efficiency, and communicating the value of ETFs to their clients, networks or industry. The CETFA ETF Champion of the Year Award was presented at the 2016 Wealth Professional Awards at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, ON. Atul Tiwari, Chair of CETFA and Managing Director of Vanguard Investments Canada presented the award.
