Executive Director

Eli Yufest is the Executive Director of the Canadian ETF Association (CETFA), where he leads the organization and is responsible for its strategic direction, advocacy, government relations, industry engagement, and investor education initiatives. Working closely with governments, regulators, and industry leaders, Eli champions policies that strengthen Canada’s ETF ecosystem, improve investor outcomes, and enhance the competitiveness of Canadian capital markets.

With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning government relations, public affairs, communications, and strategic planning, Eli has built a reputation for bringing diverse stakeholders together to advance practical, evidence-based solutions. He is a frequent speaker, moderator, and media commentator on investment policy, financial markets, and the evolving role of ETFs in helping Canadians build wealth.

In addition to his role at CETFA, Eli teaches marketing and analytics at the post-secondary level, where he is passionate about helping the next generation of business leaders develop practical, data-driven decision-making skills.
