Digital Engagement & Email Marketing Manager

Role Overview
The Digital Engagement & Email Marketing Manager supports Marketing, Sales and Digital Innovation by executing high-quality digital communications and managing Salesforce-based engagement data that helps teams better connect with clients and prospects.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with day-to-day responsibility for email marketing, campaign execution, audience segmentation, and marketing-facing Salesforce contact and lead management. Working within Salesforce CRM alongside Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot, the role ensures that digital outreach is targeted, compliant, and visible to Sales teams.
While the position sits within Marketing and reports to the Marketing Web Developer, it plays a key role in enabling Sales through accurate data, consistent campaign execution, and clear engagement insights

Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Contact, Lead & Campaign Management
- Manage marketing-related Salesforce objects including contacts, leads, campaigns, and campaign members to support accurate targeting and reporting.
- Maintain segmentation, suppression lists, and campaign membership to ensure Sales has clear visibility into client and prospect engagement.
- Perform ongoing contact and lead hygiene, including validation, opt-out management, and data accuracy checks.
- Ensure contact and lead management practices comply with applicable privacy and consent regulations, including CASL and GDPR, in partnership with Compliance.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Operations to support lead status alignment, campaign attribution, and engagement tracking.
- Follow established Salesforce governance, naming conventions, and reporting standards.
Email Marketing & Digital Engagement
- Build, deploy, and optimize email campaigns supporting both marketing initiatives and sales outreach, including newsletters, events, fund updates, and sales enablement communications.
- Hands-on HTML experience required to build, edit, and maintain email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot.
- Own email templates, personalization rules, dynamic content, A/B testing, and deliverability best practices.
- Manage campaign calendars, QA processes, audience selection, scheduling, and post-send analysis.
- Ensure all digital communications meet regulatory, brand, and data-privacy requirements.
- Use engagement data to refine targeting and improve the relevance of future communications.
Marketing Automation & Engagement Journeys
- Execute and maintain automated journeys and nurture programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot.
- Support lifecycle-based engagement for prospects and clients in coordination with Marketing and Sales stakeholders.
- Implement segmentation and personalization rules based on Salesforce data and defined business logic.
Website Content & Digital Channel Support
- Maintain and update website content using the firm’s CMS in support of marketing campaigns and sales communications.
- Publish articles, event pages, and investment insights in collaboration with Marketing and Compliance teams.
- Ensure consistency across email and web touchpoints to support a cohesive client experience.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track and report on email and digital engagement performance using Salesforce reporting and tools such as Google Analytics / GA4.
- Provide regular performance summaries and insights to Marketing and Sales stakeholders.
- Identify trends in engagement data and recommend practical optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness and Sales enablement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Digital Innovation, and Compliance to align messaging, targeting, and execution.
- Serve as a day-to-day marketing contributor to Salesforce and martech initiatives.
- Work with external vendors to support platform enhancements and campaign execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or marketing operations.
- Hands-on experience working in Salesforce CRM in a marketing or sales-support context.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot.
- Basic HTML for email formatting and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation, campaign management, and data hygiene.
- Comfort working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
- Experience using analytics and reporting to support marketing and sales decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with both Marketing and Sales teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in financial services, asset management, or professional services.
- Salesforce or marketing automation certifications.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing workflows.
- Exposure to sales enablement or client lifecycle marketing.
- Bilingual
